What is Muay Thai?
Muay Thai (the art of eight limbs) originating from Thailand. Mixing kicks, knees, elbows, punches and clinching, it's a total body workout which will push you to your limits. Moving you body in ways you are not familiar, this workout takes people outside their comfort zone. Perfect for anyone who wants to go to the next level.

Who is this class designed for?
This class is designed for anyone who is interested in learning the art of Muay Thai and wants to get fit. Muay Thai training will push your cardio in ways regular group classes can’t. Using dynamic exercises and movements, you will push your cardio beyond your limits. While you exercise, you will be learning how to use your whole body to strike.
What will you learn in this class?
At the core, you will learn how to punch, kick, knee and elbow correctly and safely. If you through a punch, kick, knee or elbow incorrectly, it is very easy to hurt yourself. We will show you how to wrap your hands, so they are supported. We will show you how the techniques are setup, so you know how to start. We will show you what parts of the body makes contact, so you avoid injuring yourself. We will also show you how to hold focus mits or pads, so you and your partner don’t get injured. In these classes, you will learn how to defend from someone attacking you.

What is the benefit of attending this class?
Our classes are designed to push our members. You will use a lot of energy and burn a lot of calories. You will learn the art of Muay Thai and in doing so, you will learn how to defend yourself in situations. A big focus of our class is defense. You will be shown how to prevent someone from hitting you and how to safely move. This class is suited for anyone who is interested in pursuing Muay Thai or wanting to learn how to defend themselves.
