What Is Boxing?
Boxing is the sweet science. Focusing on the hands, you will develop speed, strength, agility and confidence. Perfect for self-defense and a great workout. Set combinations, footwork drills and light sparring are used to push members to their physical limits. 

Who is this class designed for?
This class is designed for anyone who is interested in learning the art of boxing and get fit. Boxing training will push your cardio in ways regular group classes can’t. Using dynamic exercises and movements, you will push your cardio beyond your limits. While you exercise, you will be learning valuable skill-sets.

What will you learn in this class?
At the core, you will learn how to punch correctly and safely. This is very important regardless if it’s a boxing or boxing based fitness class. If you punch incorrectly, it is very easy to hurt your hand. We will show you how to wrap your hands, so they are supported. We will show you how the techniques are setup, so you know how to start. We will show you what parts of the hand makes contact, so you avoid injuring your hand. We will also show you how to hold focus mits or pads, so you and your partner don’t get injured. In these classes, you will learn how to defend from someone punching you.

What is the benefit of attending this class?
Our classes are designed to push our members. You will use a lot of energy and burn a lot of calories. You will learn the art of Boxing and in doing so, you will learn how to defend yourself in situations. A big focus of boxing is defense. You will be shown how to prevent someone from hitting you and how to safely move. This class is suited for anyone who is interested in pursuing boxing or wanting to learn how to defend themselves.
